Carleton Place Dental is owned by the husband and wife team of Dr. Thanh Do & Dr. Luu Nguyen.
Dr. Luu Nguyen
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Sciences, University of Toronto
- Doctor of Dental Surgery, University of Toronto (2001)
- Post-graduate hospital residency, Barnes-Jewish Hospital, Washington Medical School, St. Louis, Missouri, U.S.A
- Dental Implant Mini Residency, NYU, New York City
- Graduate of Misch Implant Institute, Michigan, U.S.A
- Fellow of ICOI (International Congress of Oral Implantologists) and AGD
- Active Member of Canadian Dental Association, Ontario Dental Association, Ottawa Dental Society, ICOI, and Academy of General Dentistry

- Completed level I and II of Rondeau Orthodontics Seminars
- Attended numerous orthodontics related lectures, labs and study clubs
- Active member of Canadian Dental Association, Ontario Dental Association, Ottawa Dental Society, and International Association For Orthodontics
- Completed University Expert Degree in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics by Catholic University of Murcia (UCAM) of Spain
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Do and Dr. Nguyen love spending time with their two sons and getting outside to enjoy their beautiful community.
The doctors traveled to do a Dental/Medical mission in a rural ethnic community of Vietnam in December 2022.

Meet Our Team:
Kim
Administration
Kim graduated in 1997 with a diploma in Network Administration. She transitioned into finances with extensive training after starting her family to allow the flexibility needed. Her background in financial management and customer service allowed her to then transition into the dentistry field in office administration. Kim joined our team in May 2022. If you ask her what her favourite thing is about working here she will say “its the team spirit of the office and being able to interact with her work family. She thrives on getting to know each and everyone of our patients while being the first and last point of contact, and making sure they are happy.
In her free time Kim loves to travel, golf, and skidoo and enjoys spending time with her family and friends whenever possible. “Never regret anything that made you smile” -Mark Twain

Dental Assistant / Administration
Hi everyone! It's a pleasure to be a member of the CP Dental Centre team. I graduated in 2002 with a diploma in Dental Assisting and have really enjoyed working both chairside and more recently at the front desk. Before getting into healthcare, I dabbled at University in Humanities and Psychology.
I am a proud Mom to three amazing kids. My oldest graduated from St F-X University and is out on her own thriving. So, wrangling two teenagers with their own busy social lives, work schedules, school and sports is where you'll find me outside of work! I also enjoy swimming, golfing, sailing, scuba diving, SUPing, exploring new places, writing and spending time with my hubby and dog.
Corrie
Dental Assitant
Since graduating as a Level 2 Dental Assistant from CDI college in 2006. I have assisted chair side with General Dentists, Oral Surgeons, Orthodontics and Periodontists. I have also done treatment coordinating, reception and teaching first term hygienist students in a private college.
I am happy to return to chairside assisting in my hometown with 2 wonderful dentists that allows me to utilize all of my skills.
Outside of the office I love to enjoy the outdoors with my spouse, friends, and my 2 dogs Noah and Nikki.
Amanda
Dental Hygienist
I have been working as a Registered Dental Hygienist since graduating from Algonquin College in 2012. I had an interest in helping others from a young age, I spent several years working in the community as a Personal Support Worker before becoming a Dental Hygienist which provided me with an extensive background working in diverse clinical situations.
It is my goal to work alongside my clients and team members to achieve and maintain a healthy and confident smile for you, I am fortunate to have found a wonderful office with a great atmosphere to do just that.
When I’m not in the office I love to spend time with my family, gardening, and cooking or baking up a storm in the kitchen.
Michelle
Dental Hygienist
Michelle started her dental career in 2004 as a dental assistant and progressed to dental hygiene graduating in 2009. Her love for dentistry encouraged her to take the restorative dental hygiene program in 2013. Michelle loves learning and has taken several courses to further her knowledge including holistic nutrition.
Michelle lives in Kanata with her 3 children husband and two dogs.
She loves being active everyday and enjoys outdoor activities like hiking and camping.
